Arroyo Vista has created its first ever robotics team. We participate in the FIRST LEGO League, an organization with 106,000 participants from 38 countries. The team consists of 10 members who work with mentors to design, build and program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS. The robot earns points by solving missions on a game table. In addition, the team researchs a real-world engineering challenge and presents its solution to a panel of judges. More information about the FIRST LEGO League can be found at www.usfirst.org.
